Medicare Advantage PFFS 2010 and Beyond

I believe that if you see a physician, or go to a facility that is in the PPO portion of the PFFS, then there is a deeper discount. You can still see any physician, as long as they agree to the terms and conditions of the provider.

One thing I have noticed is seniors like to stay with their docs, because that is who they are comfortable with. This allows them to keep their doctors, if they wish.

Is it not that easy? Am I just that dense?

[F there'd be no additional cost for using a provider out of the network--that is, a customer could use any Medicare provider willing to see him/her on a case-by-case, visit-by-visit basis.

:jiggy:BINGO!!!:jiggy:

So, "the only thing to fear is fear itself."

Providers signed up as PFFS Providers will be contracted PFFS plan providers and the other non contracted providers will be case-by-case, visit-by-visit. No additional co-payments -- just provider guarantees of plan acceptance.
