Mortgage Brokers and Real Estate Agents

Back when I was selling personal p&c, before I went commercial only, I had a couple of things that I did that were pretty effective in addition to some of the things mentioned here.

I sweet-talked my way in to some nearby developments with the aide of cookies and brownies, then designed and printed promotional pamphlets/ fliers which I left with permission at the sales office.

Then I got in touch with brokers that owned large real estate offices and scheduled regular presentations in front of their entire team of agents to review basics of insurance. The tricky part was getting the agents to show up, as they are generally self employed 1099 and the didn't have to. Again, cookies and brownies were my allies at these meetings. Coffee would probably have not been a bad idea.
