Objection: I don’t know my spouse schedule

I’m attempting to schedule appointment and running into a common objection of ‘oh I don’t know my spouses schedule/call me back tomorrow when I have a better idea’

I honestly can’t tell if this is valid or more importantly how to overcome it.

Would you just door knock them instead of calling back?

Call back tomorrow.

If they still don't know their spouses schedule they are playing you.

Build a sense of urgency, birthday coming up, going bare (no protection), then call them back.

Edit: What he said.

Does the spouse work? Fine, when do they work.

No, then it is a smokescreen.

In either case, you tell them when you will be stopping by and if the spouse isn't there you'll try again at another time. You should be able to at least get a work schedule out of the person on the phone.

Otherwise they become an evening or Saturday door knock.
