Would you recommend filters for new agents or is it better to try to get any type of prospect?

My goal initially is to get comfortable with the sales & fact finding processes. I thought that filters may also help when getting started. I will be using E Z Life for the application process.

Would any of these filters be beneficial for new agents?
1. Ages- Should new agents filter certain decades?
2. Currently Insured?
3. Currently Uninsured?
4. No DUI in past 5 years?
5. No lead has been rated or declined in the past 5 years?

Thanks!

Mick - Can I ask what lead company you're considering? PM me if you want.

If it doesn't cost anything to filter age, then filter age above age 35 to increase the average premium on your sales.

Being insured, uninsured, having a DUI won't matter. Don't filter those.

No lead has been rated or declined in last 5 years - if it doesn't cost anything extra to filter those - then do it.

I noticed you said you are just getting started. At this point I'd get some cheap leads to practice. Typically, the more filters the higher the cost for leads. Get comfortable on the phone and get your system in place using cheaper leads. Then when you buy better leads you will be able to get your money's worth out of them.
