I agree that no lead is exclusive. I used to generate hundreds of leads per month when my websites ranked on google. They still shopped other sites, but not all did and self generated leads close probably 4 times better then purchased leads.

Jack, do you do ppc on bing and google? I was doing great with bing back in Jan-Mar of this year, but I can't seem to get the conversions anymore. If I could get some consistency again, that would be the way I would go for sure.

I did great on yahoo back in 2010 but then bing bought yahoo and overnight the results immediately changed. And no one at bing could ever explain to me why. I have not trusted bing since!

I try to not generate too many PPC leads because the organic stuff I get is infinitely better than the PPC stuff. The PPC stuff tends to be "Can I get a quote. I just want to see what it costs." Whereas an organic lead is much more likely to know who I am and what I have written about. Just a better conversation for me.
