Possible Conflict of Interest

I currently hold a Texas All Lines Adjuster license. I wanted to look into selling life insurance on the side.

Question 1:
Can I hold an adjuster license as well as a life insurance license (agent I would assume)?

Question 2:
If I can hold both, is it a conflict of interest?

You'll have to confirm this with the Texas DOI but there shouldn't be any reason that you can't have both. I had life/health and P/C licenses all my life and got an adjuster's license when I got hired as a claim rep.

No. Not between adjusting P/C claims while selling life insurance on the side.

Actually, it depends on the insurance company policy. If their policy is not agreed with this you may be in trouble. So, you should read the policy carefully.
