Replaced by Homesite

Mortgage company told me they were advised to not pay the Universal NA renewal but to pay Homesite. This is in FL. Never heard of them. Question is, insured had a water claim. Did homeowner not inform them of this or do they allow a claim in the last 12 months? Help would be appreciated.

Seems like almost all companies care about water claims in the last 3 years. If the insured didn't disclose it and the company doesn't run CLUE or APlus upfront the only time they will find out about it is if and when there is another claim.
