Senior marketing specialist? Med Supp Leads?

Who's Peter. This is a great soap opera. I love it when everybody attacks each other on the forum and picks apart every word.
Here's the back story about monkey boy.

I pointed out (correctly) that his buddy Galt - no longer on the forum - was promoting his illegal leads. They both attacked me.

So monkey boy promoted Chris Westfall as a great trainer to new Medicare agents as an attack on my now sold association MedicareTraining101.com. This was simply because monkey boy did not and still does not like me. So he promoted someone he now hates just as an attack on me and on my business.

This is why there is a credibility issue with him. He likely screwed a number of new agents just because he perceived he would be causing me harm.

I'm sure he'll come here and disagree. One needs to be careful who they trust.

Sounds more like you are trying to seize the moment, Someone else personal gripes that have nothing to do with you and try and gang up.

I will say Gollini has contributed greatly to this forum and is always willing to help with hard underwriting issue's

I don't think too many would have as much real world info without sales
 
OP...welcome to the forum. Some times, the threads get off topic.

The general answer to your question is:

You will starve in year 1. Eat Ramen in year 2. McDonalds in year 3. And at the end of year 3, if you can't afford steak, you need to get a real job.

The specific answer is always assume this ratio:
10-3-1
For every 10 people you talk to (not "I'm not interested, actually speak to) you will get 3 appointments. You will sell 1 of those.

It gets easier when you are referral based, but at the beginning, use that ratio. It helps when the calls aren't going your way.

I'm old and part time now. I'm an old cold door knocker and telemarketer who eventually started using targeted data lists(64 1/2 and older). I'd call the ones that weren't on the DNC list and cold door knock the rest. I lead with Med Supps and cross sell FE, Dental, etc.

I've started trying Avatar, TM and DM leads in the last couple of years. Avatars are a thing of the past and I'll cold door knock before I buy another TM lead. :)
