Short term DI for truckers

Any suggestion on a company that would do voluntary short term
DI on over the road truckers. They own their own trucks but just drive for the 1 company, they are not employees. The company would deduct premiums though their payroll.

If they're not employees I'm not sure how you're going to get that set up the way you want to (group chassis/payroll deduct).

You could check with Aflac.

If you go the individual route, MoO offers short-term DI for truckers.

If they're owner-operators not going home every night, you may be better off stretching an elim period to 30 days and buying Illinois Mutual on a short (2yr) benefit length.
