Most laptops use a finger pointing pad vs a mouse. If you want to use that as a signature pad there is software to allow it to be used with a stylus usb pen. I just dont have have it but have seen it.

I-pad with docusign works out great. Then the copies can be dispersed from there and information is automatically imputed throughout the application.
