We’ll see if antitrust issues arise. Cigna has mailed miserably in the mapd mkt . Rumors a few weeks ago they were selling there mapd business . Even combined still 1/2 the size of monster United .

I'm surprised Cigna hasn't sold more of those MAPDs that have a $20K dental allowance that can be used for implants. Seniors whose biggest concern is getting their implants paid for would love that plan, even if there's nothing else good about it.

I think they only allow only 1 implant each leap year- that's how they get ya.

FWIW . . . on occasion posts hang around but the content disappears, or the post is present but "hidden" for some odd reason.

HCSC will acquire Cigna's Medicare Advantage, Part D, supplemental benefits and CareAllies businesses, and the parties expect the deal to close in the first quarter of 2025. In addition, the Blues insurer has entered into a four-year arrangement with Cigna's Evernorth subsidiary, which will continue to provide pharmacy services to the Medicare plans should the sale close.
