At that height and weight (his BMI is 37), if he has no other medical conditions, I know of a really good carrier that would not only approve him with a standard rating, but they would also approve him with no medical exam, no APS, and no labs, etc. You, or he, could complete his application completely online, and he'd be approved in minutes (not days, like most carriers).
