If I'm not mistaken SF TX was selling BCBSTX last year. So maybe they just opened up the other States.

Personally I think this is a bad idea because when their clients health premium spikes or the bills don't get paid they will take it out on them by switching the auto and home to another company.

I have USAA for my personal Auto/Homeowner's and was sent an e-mail last OEP saying they were selling Assurant health. Seems kind of odd to mix P&C with health

They're not selling Assurant anymore. State Farm agents sold Assurant for years until now.
