The "pharmaceutical effect" is a real thing that few will venture to discuss, add this to our poor diets and inactivity levels and you create a perfect storm for much of the "health issues " we are seeing.

I live with a "crunchy" wife. She's been a blessing and probably the reason I haven't had a heart attack or been diagnosed with diabetes yet.

eat things like granola to be healthy

Most granola is terrible for you. People also eat way too much of it (overestimating serving size).

I love it and have to tell my wife never to buy it because it's so easy to overeat (and most have way too much sugar, even homemade).
