UHC Medicare is making all Member Information accessible to the Upline

UnitedHealthcare currently provides agents with access to their book of business (BoB) information on the Jarvis agent portal. After gathering feedback, we’re excited to announce we’re now offering Jarvis BoB access to our agency partners as well.

This will give agencies the convenience of accessing member information to support retention efforts, outreach, marketing, and business planning. Please note, this message only applies to Medicare membership.

Digging deeper:
  • Agencies will have access to a Medicare member’s information IF the agency is receiving commission payments for that member or is the agent of record (AOR)
  • The BoB report is accessed through Jarvis with the ability to view up to 2K records in the browser screen, search for specific members, and export a detailed report of all members using Microsoft Excel. To access your BoB, visit Jarvis > Tools > Book of Business
  • Upline and downline hierarchy information will be included in the report with NPN number and Writing ID Status for all levels
  • Members who have a solicitor AOR are included in the agency BoB report, but solicitor agents will NOT receive access to the Jarvis BoB
  • Future effectives will appear in the Jarvis BoB once initial agency commissions are paid or the agency is the AOR
  • Termed members in the first year of their plan enrollment will appear for 90 days if there is no plan change
  • Agencies will have the ability to view a member’s profile page on Jarvis to assist with servicing the member (e.g., ordering ID cards)
  • Delegate access can be setup by the account holder from their Jarvis profile by visiting Jarvis > Manage Profile > Delegated Access Tab > Add New User

Important details:
Since all levels in the hierarchy are going to have access to member information, we recommend coordinating member outreach with your upline or downline. As a reminder, any agent or agency contact must adhere to permission to contact requirements.
