Open the pod bay door.....
AI and/or generic "research based" PA determinations are apparently being used not only in MA plans, also even individual/family and group insurance. Article I saw a prominent lawyer was denied proton beam therapy and self paid, won a victory eventually but still waiting for the reimbursement almost $100K. How many PT sessions, small number, for one of my clients on individual under 65 health plan for their teen who has severe scoliosis.
