Just got FIOS installed this morning. So far it dusts Comcast. Internet is much faster and the tv has a noticeably clearer picture.
They simply allocate more bandwidth. Comcast has been over here 3 times to adjust the signal, always saying that when we have three computers and two HD tvs it's always going to be a bit of a strain.
Plus, he added that since it's a three story townhouse no matter where we put the router the signal is always going to be weaker when the distance is greater. We now don't have that issue. Everything on all three floors is running lightening fast.

So I switch yesterday, today there's an area outage. Called and it's something about the rear camshaft flange and whatever....gonna take 4 to 6 hours to get it fixed. Thank God for 3g in the meantime.
Good news is because I just switched yesterday and I was quite ticked they offered me a credit off each bill for the next 12 months.
