I think I earned just under 40k from March to December 1980 at age 23. My manager had me working the senior market... 40 year olds.
 
We have 26 votes so far and the results are about what I would have predicted.
 
I was licensed so long ago that we still used rocks with holes in the middle as money. I earned enough to buy a goat and a wife.

Had you been successful you could have gotten a camel and two more wives.. You would have been set for life. Shame Mah wasn't around in those days to teach you how to become a millionaire.

Wish it could be broken down even more. First year P&C or L&H and first year captive or indy.
 
$60k my first year but that includes salary, commission and bonus. Hoping to make at least that my first year as an Indy agent
