Competitive Carrier for Standard Market in SoCal

Hey Guys, Just wanted to know which carrier you guys are having success with in the Standard market. Our agency comes across a lot of ppl that have a couple minor violations and youthful drivers.

Why do you want to place those types of accounts with a standard carrier? Youthful drivers will kill your loss ratio's unless you are getting a fairly high premium for them.

Mercury has a nice feature with drop down limits for minors but I am hesitant to put most youthful drivers with my standard companies. I have had too many profit sharing checks blown because of teenagers playing bumper cars.

Where do you put your youthful drivers? Mainly looking for company that has good rates for the people wit the not so perfect driving records. We've also been coming across newly licensed drivers but with foreign licenses.

Alliance United, Access, Bristol West, Infinity and Viking would be my recommendation.
