Captive Agent Moving to Another Captive Company?

In my current search for a CSR/producer job here in San Antonio, I have come across something interesting. I have been contacted by two new Allstate agents (one scratch, the other is buying a book of business).

1) One is a 23 year Farmers agent moving to Allstate.
2) A seven year State Farm agent moving to Allstate.

I have read the threads regarding Allstate and was curious why these guys don't consider the IA route. Anyone else run across this?

Ask them that when you are interviewing them. Ask them questions.
