I just moved to Florida from Texas. I tried to apply for a resident (Life & Health) license in FL but I cannot until my TX residence license is cancelled. I cannot switch my TX license from resident to non-resident until I get a 'Letter of Certification' from FL which I cannot get until I am licensed there.
The vast majority of my income\renewals is tied to my TX license so I do not want to cancel TX for fear of losing my renewals due to the lapse between cancel of resident and issuance of non-resident in Texas.
Can someone explain to me the proper way to make these changes? Thanks!
