New to the forums.

I am looking for life policy for my wife and kids that have minimal fee's and with principle protection.

Can someone please recommend what type of policy will be best and why?

I initially looked at variable universal life however now I am leaning more toward indexed life. what are the pro's and con's?

Without knowing about your current financial situation, any specific recommendation would be foolish. However you mention wife and kids, so based on that limited information I would recommend term. Buy as much as you can afford for the longest term period..

Just depends on needs. Do you have debt? What's your income that would need replaced?

Principal protection would steer you away from VUL for sure.

Indexed could be a fit with principal protection and upside potential, just all depends.
