Homeowners Association Liability

I have a friend who is on a homeowners association. He's looking for a policy that could cover him and the other managers for liability. He's only been able to find higher-cost, general liability. Is there any narrow-coverage policy JUST for liability arising from Homeowners association actions??

They can purchase a D & O & a GL policy homeowner's for the homeowners assn listing the board members as addl insds. Each board member should also buy a personal umbrella as many will come over the top of the ass'n policy. Good luck!

Philadelphia has a nice policy form for GL and D&O for HOA's with a low minimum premium. As mentioned, carrying a personal umbrella is advised.
