The answer is yes you can definitely get them to sign a scope and present MA plans if the client made the request, but if this becomes a common practice they will want you to explain how this has come about!

Because if it is common practice you will be accused of bait and switch.
I think most in here sell yr round and sell mostly med supps. So I'll ask how do these mapd only agents sign up a 100 during AEP legally? I hear about big numbers during AEP. 1 one or two a day? Impossible without breaking every rule in the book. Also, I switched a current client last week into a 5 star mapd. He said the plan intiated the call, and was calling him regularly. Talking to him about his drugs etc. Do they play by different rules? And if not, how are they not a 1 star plan?
Last yr I helped a bene out of a mapd with an sep because the plan was not even available in their county, and the plan knew it, and refused to give me the correct letter. Imagine, these are the people on the panels reviewing us for violations!
