Without warning . . . I have been locked out of my FB account and will not be allowed in until I enable FB Protect.
This has been a scam for over a year now with FB "members" receiving emails and other notifications advising them to enroll in FB Protect or else . . .
My account has been hacked before but not like this. On several occasions I have been able to get in but then Messenger has a warning, allegedly from Meta, to enroll in Protect or my page will be deleted.
The messages from from agent99@meta or something similar. I report the spammer and move on. I never get a response from FB/Meta but also my page is not deleted.
Anyone else had this problem?
I no longer advertise on FB/Meta but do use my business page to keep clients informed.
