H One really dicked us over here in FLA with these low renewal rate increases, how we suppossed to flip?

So if the renewal commission is based on initial premium, this should be a good thing, right? Or do they decrease the commission anyway?

Then that will give them plenty of time to focus on their Medicare products.
The deficit reduction "super" committee is expected to raise the deductibles and add co-pays to Medicare as part of their 1.5 Trillion dolalrs in cuts. Naturally this will make MedSups more expensive for insurers, customers and cause a reduction of our commissions on these products as well.
I really feel bad for Seniors and disabled Veterans. No cost-of-living adjustment the past 2 years. This administration is racking up more negatives than positives at an alarming pace. Riots may be imminent on our own turf if the government keeps making life tougher for average citizens.

Medicare is in the crapper. SS needs help but Medicare is imminent.
They are also working on a "new" doc fix. Projected cut in doc pay for January, 2012 is in the 28% range which of course won't fly with providers.
Look for a compromise cut in the 8 - 12% range and a new formula.
