Anyone have a long waiting period for California to issue their Life and Health License?

I passed my test on the 23rd of September and sent in all of my information the next day. I called in today to check on status. I was told that a license number will not be issued until the middle of November. I am curious if anyone else has experienced wait times like this.

Is this normal for the state of California, is there any way to pay an expedited fee to have it pushed through?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

They won't mail it to you. All insurance licenses in CA are electronically produced. I don't know how to expedite it.

Largest insurance market in country + bloated Democratic government = you can do the math.

That is not a good sign for me. Looks like I'll be crossing my fingers to see it before 2018! Thank you for the info

Don’t wait by the mailbox, get on the phone to state licensing and find out what’s going on! You may have to wait a half hour on the hold but so what, that license could be your golden ticket to $$$
