The comment was that CMS was turning MA into socialist programs. The entire system of Medicare is already socialist.

If they aren't socialist then make them buy and build their own stadiums to play in and pay taxes just like any other company.

That's not what socialism means. However, I agree. Public supported and subsidized businesses should not continue.

You should look up the definition of socialism. What you're talking about really is crony capitalism where the government picks winners and losers.

Thus, CMS does whatever it can to slow the sale of MA. And the bet way to do that is to screw with the Agent's ability to earn a living.

I agree with you. Original Medicare is the most socialist. Part C just feels that way to agents because of the layers of regulations. But it's more free enterprise than original Medicare is.

All Capitalism won't work and all Socialism won't work. It takes a mixture of the two in order to make it work. Dems will argue for more of the Socialism component and Pubs will argue for more of the Capitalist component.

Why won't all Capitalism work? We the people couldn't stomach all the suffering of our fellow countrymen/women with little money. (keeping it simple here)

Why won't all Socialism Work? We the people want choices and if we can afford higher quality we do not want to be denied. (again keeping it simple)

What is the real difference between the Dems and Pubs? The Dems want Govt. spending to be about 50% of GDP the Pubs want to keep Govt. spending around 35% of GDP so in nutshell the difference between the two is about 15%. They both want Govt. spending!
