As of today, BCBS FL, Cigna, Humana, Aetna, Coventry and most carriers do not have a way to directly assist consumers with getting an exchange policy. BCBS FL's agent portal allows you to email the consumer a link to apply on there own, the its re-routed back to BCBS FL for the agent to get credit. Cigna has told me their system will not be ready until November 7th.
Does anyone know if agents can assist consumers in purchasing an exchange/subsidized policy through healthcare.gov or another cms website?
Regards to our commission... will agents get paid commission on the entire premium amount of an exchange policy, or just the amount the consumer pays?
Thank you.
