Does FFL pays residuals?

Does anybody know, if FFL pays residuals on written business
Have you already contracted with them? If not, they should be able to show you commission grids before you sign. If they won’t, don’t sign!
(BTW, you may be able to do better with other organizations, and you should check out a few. Several good IMO’s can be found on this forum, including the first guy to answer you in this thread.)

If you’re already contracted, those grids should be in your contracting paperwork. If not, do as Doug suggested above.

Another BIG question to ask is: What happens to those renewal commissions if you leave the agency? If they stay with the producer, what are the vesting requirements?

Before you sign up with them or anyone you need the commission grids to study and compare. It should either be a separate grid for each company showing 1st year and renewals OR a grid table showing all their companies and showing 1st year and renewals for your starting level. Short of getting that in writing do NOT sign up with anyone. Biggest mistake an agent can make. Just as dumb as sending your bank info to a Nigerian Prince that emails you.

It should be as transparent as this: Final Expense Commission Levels

@Newby ^^^ is another great choice to contact, and he makes it super easy to see commission grids, as he just showed you.

FFL as far as I know pays renewals on the final expense business. However they do push a lot of MTG protection (americo HMS) which does not pay renewals. You will also be 15% less on FE than what your term contracts will be at.

10-30% less
