I had a rep at an fmo tell me that Everest outsourced their UW.
Everest's admin is IAS (Insurance Administration Solutions). Many carriers use them – they're a fantastic admin group.

Other carriers are much easier to deal with. Bankers Fidelity will also consider neuropathy and is a much easier company to deal with. There is no reason to send Everest any business, healthy or not...Everest is a brand new company, but because of their underwriting niches – the fact that they'll consider up to 100 units of insulin as well as neuropathy (virtually unheard of) – a lot of agents are just sending in cases that have previously been declined or who have health conditions.
I wouldn't judge a company's merit based off of business like that. Try sending in a blend of business, both healthy individuals and some individuals who fit into some of those niches. I don't think it's fair to disregard or judge a company based off of clients who have shaky health conditions to begin with.
After all, remember that they'll only consider this business – not automatically approve it.
