I think he means that the entire insurance industry is MLM in a way. Just not the WFG/FFL/Avon/Primerica/Essential oil companies way.

I'm pretty sure if we look at all policy holders (past/present), that 80+% of them didn't also sell insurance (past/present). Internal consumption is the hallmark of MLM, and the main reason why the MLM industry is operating as an illegal Pyramid scheme. Unfortunately, the FTC allows the industry to self-regulate, except in rare cases, and in spite of the fact that ALL 32 investigations launched to date over the last 40 years have resulted in fines/settlements and/or closure.

Just watched an interesting video on MLM companies. As I watched, I was struck by some amusing similarities between MLM companies and some IMO’s. They even have a Project 100!

I feel extremely wary of any company that wants to recruit as much as they do. I can think of quite a few more that are like this. The thing is I am just getting started.............
