Here a question, what is the general minimum of leads an IMO will let you purchase?

Completely depends upon the IMO and the lead program. Some have higher minimums because of the lead type. For instance, the more direct mail you send, the cheaper it is per piece. While with telemarketing the cost relationship is more linear.

I see ok the IMO generates the leads... SO what is the difference between an IMO and a Lead vendor?

Lead vendors just sell leads.

IMOs offer contracts, they may or may not provide training and they may or may not have lead programs, which may or may not operate at a profit for the IMO.

And? That's life. Also, each IMO runs its business the way it wants. Some are as much a lead vendor as an IMO, if not more a lead vendor. Others are just a place to get a contract, others provide training, and finally others have training and leads.

Did you know that there are four hundred and fifty-two official government cheeses in this country? Don't you think that's incredible? To come up with four hundred and fifty-two ways of classifying what is basically a bacterial process?

Understood, that is why everybody is saying find one with training and a system. Not an “agency building” on craigslist who just gives you a sccript and answers is phone one every 2 weeks.
