Yes. Even if it had to be repaid, at our age we won't be around long enough to pay it back.

I got the $1,000 grant and was approved for a $10,000 loan. I only accepted a $1,000 loan, then changed my mind. Last week I called, and was told to be "reconsidered," you have to attach last year's tax return, the reason you need the money, etc.

If I remember correctly the loan application I completed asked about gross income and I was approved for half that amount. The $1000 was deposited weeks ago and the remainder was deposited last week. Not sure what I will spend the money on yet. I was told that only loans over $25,000 stand a chance to be questioned. Under that amount no questions asked. I will keep good records just in case.
