Got to Love How Dependable the Internet is

I'm tired of these private companies not providing services, especially to the lower income folks. They may only have one email device while the higher income people can afford multiple devices.

It's time for the government to provide universal email. You can keep your current carrier if you wish, but we need that pubic option.

This will be revenue neutral because it will tax email providers and anyone who actually has a job.

Looks like something that Queen Nancy should take a look at.

I believe Rick is on to something and this could be Obama's shining moment. Roosevelt formed the TVA to ensure electrical services for all Americans:

TVA: From the New Deal to a New Century

Obama could form the IVA (Illinois Valley Authority; does Illinois have a valley?) to ensure "push email" service to all PDA's users, regardless of whether they are buying Blackberry devices from RIM or not. Why should iphone users not have the same benefits of instant email that Blackberry buyers have? This is an outrage. Worse, RIM is a Canadian enterprise that is unfairly competing in the U.S. and must be dealt with accordingly. Can this do nothing Congress protect us from no one? If Obama can take over GM, surely we can manage to take over RIM. It will become OIM (Obama in Motion).

So the first step would be a computer with internet access (Broadband of course) in every house kind of like FDRs a chick in every pot...Then Guaranteed Email, and lets not forget acess to that wonderful internet porn think of the votes that could get a politician :)

As a side note I am aware of some towns in my state that run its own ISP and provide free dialup access to residents.

Blackberry = multiple network problems in the last week

iPhone = no problems nor interruptions of any services

Just sayin' ;)

Bravo, Rick!

TMOBILE = Dropped calls, and just overall bad coverage, But the price is half of their competitors! I think I can deal with a few dropped calls to save over $100 an month on phone service.

Why complain about Blackberry vs IPhone? It's like comparing Ford and GMC. Which one has the options that fit you? How much do you want to pay?

The last thing we need is government ran internet! Think about it a little more! Oh I forgot I may be speaking with people apart of the looney left wing side.:1mad:
