So many variables here, like others have said, you need to talk with someone that specializes in this area. I would consider if your mom can come home and if the policy can pay for that, assuming medicaid does not in your state.

I Have been retired for 31 years and have spent the last three in my present Assisted Living apartment. I am a CLU and worked as an agent, broker, sales mgr. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks for offering to help everyone. I am looking for a LTC insurance that will provide home care and keep me out of a nursing home. If needed I would be open to a good nursing home. The green nursing homes sound great but I haven't heard much about them in the past 20 years.
