Up until recently when I was creating a Retirement Income plan for clients I was using Retire Now Software, but since changing my IMO to AE that software is no longer accessible to me. It was very simple to use. It wasn't like needing an engineering degree for Retire Up.
Also I could give my plan to a client an no way for another to duplicate it without knowing payout factors and other variables. I did have a client ask me those questions which led me to finding out his other advisor wanted to know and I told him "If your other advisor wants to pay me for my work I am happy to sell it to him".
What are you using when illustrating a retirement/ income plan- besides EXCEL?
I used to use EXCEL but it took much longer than necessary.
