New to the group and upgrading old flash website to htm5, struggling with my site ranking on google compared to the old. Anything that looks obvious that I may have missed or any suggestions?

There's a few issues, imo.

1) no privacy policy easily findable. That's a Google requirement. Ding.

2) Insurance is a Your Money or Your Life topic. You really need to invest some time and effort in a solid about us page. Google's been really active about dinging sites that don't establish Expertise, Authority, and Trust.

3) Theme changes could cause temporary drops in your traffic. Fix the other two things and give it a couple of months.
