Leads from SEO

Is that the same guy that did the site? As I recall you paid the guy that did the site a fair price and some of that undoubtedly helped you get there too.

No relationship to the guy that did the site whatsoever. And I believe the guys that did the site did not necessarily do anything to make it SEO friendly or optimized. They just designed it. So I paid a lot of dough to get a decent "looking " site that nobody was ever going to see and then I interviewed probably 15 SEO guys and finally settled on a guy that gave me an offer I could not refuse.

Panda and Penguin didn't hurt my site, but I know it hurt some of my competition. I feel sort've lucky. I have no idea what might have happened to my site if someone else was doing my SEO.

I sure would like to move up a few spots, though!

These updates are surprising me. My junk test sites are doing very well. Funny what google likes and doesn't.

I bet interviewing those guys must have been a blast!

One guy named Adam in Maryland was the worst. He wanted 5000 month. He assumed I would be impressed because his SEO site was on page 1.
Of course his main testimonial on his site was from a female physician with a different last name than his. When I researched her through Google I found out she was his wife. Too funny.

Anyway, it was easy to toss out the guys who hit me for 2000 month or more; as well as the guys who thought I should try to get to page 1 in Atlanta. Those guys just proved themselves to be idiots. I mean, what's the point. The guy I hired was confident, but the opposite of a salesperson. Can hardly get a word out of him. He told me that he would do, and when I would be on Page 1, and he did what he said. And his price was so fair that I had nothing to lose by giving him the first crack at it. I guess I was lucky.

SEO is one of the best forms of marketing in my opinion if you can find a company that is not trying to rip you off. I've been screwed a couple of times in the past until I found a company called Canyon View Solutions located in Utah: they can be found at custominsurancewebsitesdesign.com. I don't know why it wont let me put in a link but o well
I heard about them from a friend who uses them and lives really close to where they are located. He had nothing but great things to say. They built him a whole custom site and do all his SEO with no money down and only 500 a month for their highest package.
I've only been with them for a few months but have actually started to see a ton of traffic and some quote requests as well as some phone calls from my new website.I am a cheap skate so I went with their standard package for 300 a month. I'm actually quite impressed and am already seeing a return on my investment. From what I hear the longer you do SEO the better results you get, so if I am on the thrid page for some prevalent local search terms and am seeing these results after a few months I can't wait to see how much better it can get.
If you are looking for the best seo, I hear seo.com is the best but they also charge thousands of dollars a month for their services. Being a small 2 man agency I found the $300-500 range of canyon view solutions to be a bargain especially considering they build a whole custom website as well. just my 2 cents.
