I do not think plan G will be a the new GI. Will there be a change to how they look, I think so. I would not be surprised if they do something else with Part B.
As for HDF, I think because of ACA you will see more people wanting to sign up. I already have people asking for it. More HDF will be sold than MAPD when MAPD starts having a premium.

They can buy HDF somewhere else. If they ask for HDF I pitch N. If they don't want N and I am in a good mood I write it. Otherwise I send them on their way.

Actually, in most cases, the deductible is not "covered" by Hi F. It is however included in your OOP to satisfy the Hi F deductible.
