One down, how many more to go?
It's easy, in hindsight, to act as if the topical content Bob wanted us to take from this post was that the Mom advised the child to lie, but that is quite obviously not the case. Just an attempt to get the mud off.
If they want to lie, I will correct their thinking, not the first time it's happened, once they know the consequences of that, they usually change their tune. It's my job to educate them.
I hope I never get to the point where I'm so tainted that I disregard helping someone who may need my help.
Did you ever consider how many referrals that one client you dismiss is worth?
