Nationwide Insurance in California pulling back

As you may be aware, Nationwide E&S/Specialty will cease writing Wholesale-driven Contract Binding Commercial Auto new business, including primary brokerage auto, effective July 15, 2023 (honoring current quotes for 60 days). As of Sept. 1, 2023, they will begin non-renewal of in-force policies, following any obligated state requirements for non-renewals.
