No King V. Burwell Ruling Today

More opinions/decisions coming on Thursday 6/25 and the final volley on Monday 6/29.

These are the cases remaining. Texas Fair Housing Act, Arizona redistricting commission, King v. Burwell, Michigan v. EPA, Johnson v. US, Obergefell v. Hodges, Glossip v. Gross.

Will it be a simple, clear ruling?

Or, will we get a ruling that will be uncertain to the affects it has on our exchange books of business on the day it is released?

Remember those days in the corporate world, where rumor was that layoffs were coming. "pink slip day" for some agents may be this Thursday?

My money is on this Thursday, so the press only has only 1 weekday print to bash the decision.

On the blog it was actually discussed on whether this would be a "Tomorrow" affect or later on when it will be enforced.

A case was noted that SCOTUS allowed for a delay of the rulings to take affect that didn't go well. That said from a not allowing history to repeat itself ideology it will probably be a next billing situation.

What's your game plan should this all come to a head? Will you write your clients hospital indemnity and accident plans for the short term?

Thursday and Monday are the only days left for the Courts to release opinions. Friday isn't an option.
