FWIW, too many people don't read . . . anything. Email, letters . . . they will glance at a post card for a few seconds before tossing it.

When they do read it is generally the first paragraph or two then maybe scan bullet points. So don't knock yourself out. Stick to the basics.

Postcards are not personalized but you have a better chance of getting your message read by more people than stuffing envelopes

If I send something to a prospect or a client, I hand write the address on the envelope.

Additionally: Stay away from black ink when addressing. A good strong blue or green is a much more eye catching color in my opinion. IMHO

Also, my letters and mailing always contain my logo, so that there is a connection to me.
