As I mentioned in the post, I refer to Med supps specifically.

It's not an "assumption", it's an opinion - backed up by testing and data. A lot of it.

I see a lot of your posts about cold calling being a waste of time. I do not recall seeing any posts from you that suggest another tactic. I very possibly missed it, but care to explain the methods you find to be most successful?

A slight mischaracterization...

Cold calling is going to have limited effectiveness. For medsupps (in no particular order); direct mail, speaking to senior's groups, being referred by other professionals (insurance and otherwise), etc., etc.
