I have a prospect whose B-Day is on 8/24. He has a Plan G Med sup through MOO. He has pre-existing conditions which would normally keep him from getting coverage w/another carrier. Because of the state B-Day rule , though he's able to transfer to another carrier w/o evidence of insurability.
The best rate I've found is with Transamerica(Stonebridge?). He would save $40/month with Transamerica's Plan-G. My concern is whether Transamerica
can smoothly transfer the prospect to their plan G.
I wanted to transfer a pre-existing condition client to Stonebridge 2 years ago but because of the clumsiness of Stonebridge in their instructions for the transfer , I decided not to roll the client to them.
Has anyone had this issue with Transamerica? What is the best way to proceed? Thank you.
