only issue with sliding scale is now you have deductibles of $548 for one client, $784 for another, and $1385 for someone else. Talk about confusing. I agree the line between 150-151% can make quite a difference in benefits.

Had a client last year enroll with someone over the phone early in November. Client told me her income was about $20k. Phone lady must have put down $17500 which would be just under 150%. Since it's an estimate, it's fair game, but when she didn't tell the client she will pay a subsidy back when tax time comes, client will be pissed. Especially since she is low income and on social security. She wanted to keep her plan. Wonder if she will remember our conversation when she does her taxes for 2016. I know I will...I took notes. Will tell her to call her "new" agent and talk to her.
