Can I write a Universal Life policy with just a Life License?

What is the minimum level of competency that the insurance-buying public should expect before a licensed agent is foisted upon them?

HAHA listen I start training with MM on Monday so I'm not sure that I even have an "insurance ego" to bruise yet but if you want details... National Honors Society, Distinction, Air Force ROTC, (gasp) RPI Math and Science Award, but don't worry earning your respect is a top priority of mine as well.
