How you plan to deliver services to your prospects matters in lead generation, too. I found that direct mail is not as effective as telephone-generated, or internet leads for making Medicare Supplement sales over the phone.
On the other hand, for in-person sales, direct mail is great, with an initial focus on the Medicare Supplement, but that opens the door to everything else, once you are in the home.
For direct mail, I recommend Chris Etheridge at Lead Connections
The phone book. It's all the same! You will have just as much luck cold-calling as you will buying leads, and it's a lot cheaper.
There is no SUCH thing as a "good" lead company unless they are truly exclusive. I would rather pay $50 for an exclusive lead than $10 for one that 10 agents get. That can't happen because there is no such thing as an "exclusive" lead, AT LEAST NOT YET.
