Whatever happened to Howe Insurance Services?

At one time H.I.S. was very active MLM type agency. I didn't notice it happen, but it seems as though they just went dark suddenly and it happened sometime in 2017. I searched the forum but couldn't find anything here. Their youtube channel has been stagnant for three, going on four years, and their old website is no longer on line.

So, this inquiring mind wants to know: Any idea what happened to them?

The website you posted only lists Don Howe, and does not have anything to indicate that it is an IMO/FMO/MLM Agency.

The last video posted to their youtube channel was July 28, 2018:

Before that video the last video was added in April, 2017 ... when I was getting started in FE in 2016, HIS was recruiting hard.

I used to watch their tapes . They had a husband /wife team and the wife was supppsedly doing $10 k a week out of Kentucky. She must have been replacing JD’s business . Hell if you believed everything you read 30% of fe agents do $250 k a yr .

I don't know if this is 100% accurate. But the story I heard was they had been transitioning from the dad (Don) running it to his son running it and the son was nothing like the dad and it fell apart.
From the outside looking in it was sort of held together with rubber bands even before that. They had the craziest contracts for the agents to sign coming in and you couldn't leave at all and sell insurance for within 2-years. I think it's the reason to this day that some agencies promote "No contracts" when it's normal to have no contracts. But Howe did. A BIG one.

Was the son Tim Howe? I know there was a Don and Tim Howe. For some reason I thought they were brothers but that may have been me assuming things. They tried to recruit me and they sure did have some crazy language in their contracts. But I did like some of Don' videos on youtube.

From my memory which is full of cobwebs I'm thinking his name was Danny. But I'm not sure. Might have been Hunter actually.

I have a buddy in the industry that came from there. He did very well. I will ask him what the story is. I'll report back my findings!
